Hi There! My name's Macy.

I worked with Kevin Scholl for a newly formed company called Tetrabilt Development Company to help build their brand and logo, develop their style guide, work on starting their social media profiles, assist in creating and building their website and its contents, and create various marketing materials such as tri-folds, business cards, email signatures, and other projects.

Currently, in regards to those with visual impairment, the system of notifications in place is not an effective system for emergency alerts. This Thesis explores how Communication Design could be used to better design push notifications for individuals with some form of visual impairment. This work has been copyrighted by me. During my time at the Livewell Collaborative, I was given an opportunity to design a poster highlighting Livewell's work the the Cincinnati's Children's Hospitals Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute. The final poster was hung in multiple places around the hospital. This is the process I used.

Point of View was the final big project I created during my last year of undergraduate. POV is a interactive mindfulness journal that is a centered around the juxtaposition of chaos and order. The book contains a variety of prompts centered around self-reflection and exploration. It also has a wide variety of customizable features to allow it to truly be tailored to the person it goes too. I hope you enjoy the process of the work I put together as much as I did creating this body of work.

Cascade was a team project where with two other students we designed a planter that turned watering your plants into an experience. As the Communication Designer on the team, I was charged with the design of the brand and the packaging of our final project. This is an overview of the process of the product we created together as a team.

ShopGuard is an app I developed to center around user safety and security online. I wanted to create an app to cater to the issues rising in regards to security of personal information and this app ended up being the outcome of this process. This is an interactive prototype of the app I designed and the process I went through.

During my time with the Red Roof Inn Marketing Team, I learned a lot about myself as a designer. One of my favorite projects would have to be my Red Roof Sticker set currently available on Instagram for use on people's stories. The following a collection on the progress I made there.
