The Livewell Collaborative:
The Livewell Collaborative is a company that focuses primarily on design research based in Cincinnati, OH. Livewell works with the University of Cincinnati, P&G, Boeing, and many other companies to research how to better the design various products and experiences for humanity as a whole.
First Draft:
The theme was decided to be: the 'Library of Innovation'. The poster was to make the design child-friendly and fun to explore for all ages. We selected five projects that would be featured in the library. Books containing all of the topics Livewell had been asked to explore were featured along with images and other items to highlight each project on each shelf.
Revising Style:
After printing and determining the sizing of the poster was off, the design was condensed and certain elements removed. The items that were photo realistic were removed, content was revised and QR codes were added to allow further in-depth exploration of projects.
Final Design:
After multiple iterations were completed, the content was finalized and several elements were removed to ensure the design was more simplified. The design would later be scaled-down and reprinted multiple copies to allow for posting around the hospital.
Poster Series:
Other posters would later be designed as companion pieces to highlight the featured projects on the large poster and a few other innovative products Livewell and Children's have collaborated on. You can see the set of posters featured below. The artwork is pulled from the project featured on the poster to help illustrate the depth of the students collaborative work.
